Concert «Rieischs» by the choir Viril Sures

Romanisches Liedergut in sinfonisches Gewand:
Mit "Rieischs" (dt. Roots), the choir viril Sures under the direction of Rainer Held interprets the homeland, the roots, which everyone feels within themselves and interprets individually.

The Romanesque main work "Rieischs Surmiranas" is a 40-minute new composition for male choir and orchestra based on seven traditional folk songs and three contemporary compositions by young musicians. These works, in turn, are based on a poetic trilogy called "Roots in Motion" by a local writer. The main work is preceded by works by Grieg, Sibelius and Tüür.

Martinskirche Chur
Sunday, March 19, 4:00 pm, French Church Bern. In Bern, an introduction to the work with Dr. Letizia Ineichen will take place at 3:15 p.m. in the restaurant "Zum äußeren Stand".
