Fast Night - Contemporary Ballet Creation

Lucas Valente's new work examines the cultural, ritual and symbolic contrasts between Carnival and Lent. These two events – one solemn, the other contemplative, one pagan, the other religious, one rooted in excess, the other in restraint – represent an inner relationship rich in images, social elements and contradictions. On stage are wonderful dancers who masterfully interpret Valente's choreographic reflection.
