Since 2007, the Parc Ela rock festival in Bivio has been all about rock and stone on a weekend in August.
Experience geologyThe area around Bivio is geologically very interesting. Where the African continent once collided with the European continent, diverse geological formations have emerged. Since 2007, the association Parc Ela with partners from Bivio and TSBA AG (Tourism Savognin Bivio Albula) organizes a rock festival.
The participating artists, craftsmen, musicians and geologists present their work, interesting topics and their products around rock and stone. Visitors have the opportunity to become active themselves. They grind stones, carve figures, plaster sculptures, balance stones and make music in the sound garden. Many offers are aimed at children and families.
The Rock Festival and the associated market have become an integral part of the cultural life in Bivio. Between 1,200 and over 2,000 people visit the rock festival in the village centre of Bivio.
