SEVEN AGES | Preview for 16 to 25-year-olds

The celebrated composer Kirill Richter deals with Shakespeare's metaphor of life, as the English poet captured it in his drama "As you like it" in unique poetic conciseness. The seven ages describe the becoming and passing away of man, from his first attempts at walking through his vigorous youth, the seemingly mature manhood to the forgetful existence of old age, which resembles childhood. – Richter sets Shakespeare's metaphor to music as a musical symbol of human life.
