Ulzii lives with his family in a yurt district of Ulaanbaatar. The teenager is a physics genius and determined to win a scholarship by winning a science competition. When his unstable mother finds a job in the countryside, he has to bring his younger siblings through the cold winter alone. He buries his study plans and takes on a risky job.Warmth is brought to the ice-cold reality of this conciliatory film by his teacher and his neighbors, who help the children.
