Insekten-Schaugarten Don Bosco

In the garden of the holiday home Don Bosco in Lantsch / Lenz a show garden for the insect world has been created. The area in the middle of the sparse mountain pine forest has been upgraded as an exemplary theme garden for insects and now the acceptance and knowledge about the six-legged animals is to be expanded. Eight different elements specifically promote regional insect diversity. It is particularly important that something always blooms from May to October. The elements with native plants, deadwood, gravel, sand and piles of stones also offer the insects retreats and nesting opportunities.

As part of the "Parc Ela Insect Oasis" campaign, the insect show garden in Lantsch/Lenz contributes directly and indirectly to preserving and promoting this important species group of insects. The elements of the show garden examples are intended to show how insects can be promoted with simple measures and encourage visitors to create insect oases themselves.

For children, there is interactive hands-on puzzle on site.
