Berghaus Piz Platta is located on Alp Flix amidst a beautiful, high alpine moor landscape. There is a unique diversity of flora and fauna. But the most valuable thing is that we have "NOTHING" and plenty of it.
You have no or only partial mobile phone reception. You have no extraneous light at night, but breathtaking starry skies. You have a fantastic, unobstructed view of the Piz Platta and other mountains, without electricity or lift masts. You are not disturbed by traffic noise, you are simply one with yourself and one with nature!
The mountain house is located at about 2000m above sea level and has a comfort that you do not necessarily expect.
The culinary offer is seasonal and regional and is freshly prepared daily. There is a wide selection of wines and fine distillates.

Public Transport
Winter: Take the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) to Tiefencastel and from there take the PostBus to Sur. Then 1 - 2 hours walk to the mountain house Piz Platta.
