Savognin was a pioneer in artificial snowmaking over 40 years ago. The first large-scale snowmaking system in Europe was put into operation in 1978.

On this exciting tour at the pump station of the Savognin cable cars, you will learn how the snowmaking system is equipped today, how water is transported to the mountain, and how a snow cannon works.
