Buchvernissage: Die Alpen am Parc Ela Trek von Irene Schuler

The realisation of a hiking route at alpine level around Parc Ela, the largest nature park in Switzerland, was accompanied by the idea of offering hikers more than just a route. Numerous alpine masters, alpine farmers as well as locals and local historians shared their knowledge with Irene Schuler, the initiator and managing director of the Parc Ela Trek. The book is documented and illustrated with photos. The book gives readers a comprehensive insight into the summer farms and presents portraits of the summer. In addition, the history of alpine farming will be highlighted and the question of how to deal with the current climatic challenges will be raised.

The book is for sale. There is also the possibility of having it signed.
