The Alps are strongly influenced by altitudinal levels, where different habitats are often only a few metres apart. Moist soils, alpine lawns, dwarf shrub heaths
and dry debris corridors form a tight mosaic determined by height, exposure, soil, and water. Even the smallest differences create new conditions and enable a wide variety of specialised communities.
The Parc Ela Trek is a long-distance hiking route that leads around the Parc Ela Nature Park in 18 stages. On the trek we hike through a particularly varied alpine landscape, from dry meadows and wetlands to alpine meadows and forests to high alpine rock and scree zones. This diversity arises from the interplay of natural factors and centuries of use.
The book is for sale. There is also the possibility of having it signed.
All interested parties are cordially invited. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for discussion and exchange at an aperitif. Registration is requested.
