On Saturday, December 27, 2025, Musica Instrumentala Savognin (MIS) once again invites you to an end-of-year concert. As with the last annual concert, this event will also take place in the multi-purpose hall in Riom (at 8:00 p.m.). The reason for this is the currently reduced spectator capacity in the Sala Grava in Savognin.

The music year 2025/26 is a very special one for the MIS: three highlights are on the programme: the concert at the end of the year, participation in the Federal Music Festival in Biel and the annual concert in 2026.

Another special feature is the musical comeback of Roland Aregger, the former teacher of brass instruments at the Grischun Central music school. He takes over the management of the MIS for one year, which makes the musicians very happy and motivated. Roland Aregger's musical as well as social skills have remained in the best memory. Particularly remarkable: He lives in Teufen (in Appenzell) and regularly takes the long way to Savognin for rehearsals and concerts.

But what can the audience expect in this concert? One thing is certain: there will be no Christmas music, nor will there be music of a certain genre. Instead, the MIS presents a varied program that invites you to end the Christmas season - or the whole of 2025 - musically. The selected pieces reflect different emotions and are intended to encourage people to review the past year with all its beautiful, sad and special moments.

The MIS is looking forward to the upcoming music year full of anticipation and hopes to welcome numerous listeners to the various events.
