Exhibition "Family Life after 1800"

The exhibition "veta da famiglia siva digl 1800" tells the story of the great challenges faced by families in Surses in the 19th century. Children played a crucial role in helping with the work and providing a kind of "social insurance" for their parents. You can also learn more about emigrant families and about "Swabian children" - children from Surses who have been sent to work in other places in Switzerland or Germany to earn money for their families.
