Kulturwanderung «Auf Römerspuren» mit Tumasch Planta

Tumasch Planta, a profound connoisseur of historical routes, takes you on special cultural hikes along former Alpine routes of the Romans. Among other things, the following hike takes place in Surses:

Julier – Malojapass (1 day)
From Roman cart tracks at the Julier Pass to the wayside at the Malojapass. As the only traversable Alpine crossings during Roman times, the archaeological traces at the passes Julier, Maloja, and Septimer reveal the unexpected about the pathways 2000 years ago.

Date: Sunday, July 5 or Sunday, August 23, 2026
Meeting point: Julier Veduta at 9:10 a.m.
Requirements: Hiking gear, lunch, 3h hiking time
Cost: CHF 80.-/person with 4-8 participants. Daily group rate upon request.
