Season Opening Val Surses 2026

After a long break, the season opening returns to Val Surses – and in a very special form: For the first time, all the youth teams of the Surses region are organizing the event together and invite you to the Sala Grava in Savognin on Saturday, December 19, 2026 .

Look forward to a live concert with Volxrock (concert starts at 8:30 p.m., doors open at 7:45 p.m.) and a DJ afterparty into the night. There will also be catering with a bar operation.

The season opening brings together locals, second residents, and guests and forms a festive start to the winter season. With the resumption of this beautiful tradition, the youth teams aim to create an event that connects people and establishes itself once again as a fixed part of winter in Val Surses.

The style and trademark of the band are unmistakable, and that's why it’s no accident that Volxrock has become a well-known term for thrilling live shows in Germany and Austria. The band has been part of the new wild folk music scene since the beginning, which also includes groups like LaBrassBanda, voXXclub, hmbc, or artists like Andreas Gabalier. Volxrock manages to excite both young and old simultaneously with their anarchistic mix of heavy metal, classic rock, rap, and folk music tradition.
