Description

Stage 5 leads along the Jufer Rhine into the Juferalpa area. The marmots are just as curious as we are. After a leisurely start, we tackle the short but steep ascent towards Fuorcla da la Valletta, up to the junction towards Forcellina at point 2566. With every step, the panorama becomes even more impressive, the peaks of the opposite Grauhörner drawing closer. Serpentine rock, black-green and shining, is the most striking rock up here. Above a terrain edge, we follow the mountain path that gently slopes southwards. Before the Planjentbach, we ascend to the Forcellina. Up here, at the foot of Piz Forcellina, it is quite possible that a golden eagle will delight us with its outstretched wings. Over a first terrain step, we reach the Leg Curegia. Over a second step, we descend to Leg da Sett, a dreamlike mountain lake, gently resting in this wild mountain landscape. Accommodation: mountain hut Cesa da Sett
