Tigias Plang Faller, Küche & Aufenthaltsraum
Simply and comfortably spend the night at Parc Ela Trek, in the small mountain hut Tigias Plang Faller, at 1950 m above sea level, at the foot of the imposing Piz Platta (3391 m).

Description

The accommodation is located in the former shepherd's and dairyman's hut of Alp Faller. Inscriptions on the walls still remind us of the farmers from Mese (I) who took the long way with their cattle through Bregaglia and Avers and over high passes to Alp Faller to summer their animals up here. The small alpine hamlet of Plang Faller is located at the back, at the end of the Val Faller valley. The view goes far, over the mountain hay meadows of Plang Faller, to the village of Tgà, an original Walser settlement, and then stops at the peaks of the 3000-metre peaks, which rise into the sky above Alp Flix, on the opposite side of the valley. What a magical place to rest in the silence of the mountains, after a long day's journey!

The mountain hut, which was completely renovated by the Cotti family in 2024, has 12 beds in shared rooms, one of which is double. There is also a kitchen with dining table, toilet and running water as well as a fountain where the ice-cold mountain water splashes and drinks can be cooled. The small forecourt invites you to linger and offers a magnificent view of the mountain panorama. Dinner and breakfast can be prepared in the hut for self-preparation. For allergy sufferers and guests with special dietary requirements, you can bring your own food.
