On the path of the pioneers, the dry sites with pines, larches and spruces have a great diversity of species. The mountain pine stands out as a real pioneer in this regard. It is able to grow on very dry, light-flooded sites, especially as a first colonizer after natural events, forest fires, large logging. On the varied hike through the Crap Furò natural forest reserve, the imposing Rauhwacke rock towers are also fascinating. The most famous of them is the Crap Furò. Around 15 different species of orchids also grow on the Path of the Pioneers.
