Description

First you climb the historic Septimer Pass, before continuing on the left side of the valley up to the Lunghin Pass. Once at the top, the only triple watershed in Europe awaits you. From here, the water flows into three different oceans. The Eva dal Lunghin, later Eva da Sett, flows into the Julia and then reaches the Rhine, which ends in the North Sea. The source of the Inn, which flows into the Danube and then reaches the Black Sea, also has its origin on the Lunghin. The river Maira flows through the Bergell, then merges with the Po and finally reaches the Adriatic Sea. The descent to Maloja is rewarded with a beautiful view of the Engadine.

Geheimtipp

If you want to enjoy even more views, make a detour to the Piz Lunghin 2779 m. The view of the Engadin is unique.

Directions

From Bivio we start at the end of the village after the Hotel Post in the direction of the Septimerpass. Shortly before the pass you reach the junction towards the Lunghin Pass. It goes down at lägh dal Lunghin to Maloja, from where you take the PostBus via St. Moritz Bad back to Bivio.

Possibility:

From the Lunghin Pass there are also less steep descents such as.B. to Plaun da Lej or via the Heidi village Grevasalvas to Sils i.E.. A third variant would be via the Fuorcla Grevasalvas to the Julier Pass. From here, a PostBus returns to Bivio in summer (Attention, only a few PostBus courses).
