Description

The starting point of the hike is on the Julier Pass at Ospizio La Veduta. After a short ascent, you reach a highlight of the hike. Nestled between mountain peaks lies Lake Grevasalvas. Behind the lake follows the second ascent. Thanks to the varied surroundings, this is sure to be entertaining. There is a good chance of encountering some marmots along the way.

Upon reaching Fourcla Grevasalvas (2688 m above sea level), it's best to take a break and enjoy the beautiful view towards the Engadin and Bergell.

The ascent is accomplished and now it goes downhill towards the village of Grevasalvas. The village became known through the filming of the Heidi series. From Grevasalvas, you walk down to Plaun da Lej.

By PostBus from Plaun da Lej back to Julier Pass/Bivio. (Change at St. Moritz Bad. Only a few PostBus courses)

Geheimtipp

Those who still have time and are not tired can walk from the village of Grevasalvas along the high path by the lakes to Sils or Silvaplana.
