Ski resort audit report - Savognin Bergbahnen
Access to the ski area
Getting there by public transport
The activity can be reached by public transport and sports bus. The sports bus stops directly at the valley station of the Savognin mountain railway. The sports bus only runs when the Savognin cable cars are in operation. Most of the buses used are discarded buses of various models. It is to be expected that some of the vehicles used are not barrier-free.
Travelling by car
If you are travelling by car, we recommend driving directly to the cable car valley station. There are paid parking spaces and 2 marked disabled parking spaces. The parking fee can be paid directly at the machine with cash or credit card.
Toilets / sanitary facilities
The sanitary facilities are located directly in the cable car building and are accessible from the car park. A barrier-free toilet is also available.
Activity
The ski area can be reached by cable car. A ramp leads from the car park to the valley station. Tickets are purchased online or at the ticket counter and validated by a cable car employee when boarding the gondola. The speed is reduced when boarding and alighting. The gondolas are wheelchair accessible and have folding seats. The path between sections 1 and 2 runs over the ski slope. The turnstile to access section 2 can be bypassed. Assistance is required when changing to the gondola. Skibob riders can transfer to their sports equipment at the mountain station and deposit wheelchairs and personal items at the mountain station. The nearby restaurant is accessible with assistance, but does not have accessible toilets. Some of the other restaurants in the ski area have accessible terraces. In addition to the gondola lift, there are also chairlifts and T-bar lifts, some of which have turnstiles that can be bypassed.
