Description

Start of the hike is Bivio. Behind the Hotel Grischuna, past the climbing garden, follows a short ascent to Alp Sur Ragn. With a view of the Marmorerastausee and the opposite Alp Natons with the beautiful pine trees, the path leads to the Kuhalpen La Motta and Starschagns. Cattle and cows roam on these two Alps. Please observe the rules of conduct when meeting. Alp Pra Miez is bordered by Toggenburg goats and cattle. Through Lärchenwald, the mountain hiking trail now leads down to the reservoir, where a fireplace invites you to linger. From the dam wall you can still catch a glimpse of the castle Marmorera. (Post stop Marmorera reservoir directly on the main road)

Geheimtipp

If you want to walk even further, you can extend the tour to Sur. Turn left at the beginning of the reservoir.
