Description
Scenic hike along field paths through a diverse cultural landscape with former arable terraces and prehistoric settlement sites.
From Mon to Savognin the Via Sett runs along the «Veia digl Pader». 13 Romansh poems (with German translation) by Father Alexander Lozza accompany you on the way. The priest was pastor in Salouf and a talented poet. A prominent point in the landscape of the lower Surses is the castle of Riom (13th century). The Origen Festival Cultural takes place each summer in this castle. The barn of Villa Carisch in Riom has been converted into the Origen winter theater and at Café Carisch you can celebrate the era of the confectioners.
